Look at what my three sneaky Pete bantams surprised me with this morning!
Slash is the proud Papa, Dinky is the happy mama hen... and the spinster Aunt Doo is on the far left.
These three have fostered several batches for us this year, but we have never let them hatch any bantam chicks.
Luckily DH just finished a new run for them, complete with small chicken wire around the bottom. He didn't feel that they had enough sunshine. (Never let it be said that our chickens are crowded! This new pen for the three Bantams is aproximately 200 sq feet! I guess that just means there will be plenty of room for 4!)
