This is Winnie. She is SO sweet! She has an awesome head poof crest! And she is SO colorful and beautiful!!!! <3 Best little girl!

My Barred Rock was on the cover of Backyard Poultry! It was so exciting. We took the picture last year and he passed away over the winter so it really felt good to be able to honor such an amazing chicken this way. He will forever be my favorite. He was about 8 years old. I don't think I will ever find another chicken quite like him (He is my Avatar picture too)

I'm sorry that he passed away. He was a very handsome rooster. I'm sure he was a very special member of the flock for those 8 years.

My Chickens get to Free-range every day!

They get lots of Straw so they are comfortable whilst they lay their Eggs!

They get the best dirt for dirt-bathing!

They get all the Mealworm they can eat!!!!!

And they get lots of love!
