Tell about your chickens

These are my two girls:

Babs



And Ginger



We jokingly named after the chickens from the Aardman Animation film Chicken Run, but it became a self fulfilling prophecy because they ended up escaping into the neighbours gardens several times. I never realised how quirky chicken's personalities could be before owning these two. When they were chicks they loved nothing more than snuggling down on your lap:



And using you as a climbing frame:






We call him the chicken whisperer!

Now they're not so keen on cuddles, but they do love clothing.

Though they don't like getting down. And their life's ambition is to get into the house.

My sister brought my chickens yesterday from Iowa. Everyone is doing fine so far. We are building the My Garden Coop design and hope to be finished today.
