Tell me one nice thing about your spouse!

We currently have only one vehicle with air conditioning. He keeps letting me have it even though I know he is miserably hot on his commute home! He doesn't like the kids getting stuck in the heat.

And I LOVE that some one is reading this as a tip sheet on how to treat a loved one!

He will put the animals out and do morning feed for me at 6am on a Saturday when he is off to work to the post office. That way I wake up and go out to do chores and find that I have nothing to do! It gives me the warm fuzzies!

He does dishes and laundry and cleans. He'll cook so I can have a break. He still holds my hand and snuggles with me.

I love him

OMG... where would I start? I have the sweetest husband on earth.

My husband makes breakfast for me every morning and leaves it in the car so I can eat it on the way to school.
He keeps the fridge filled with diet coke!
He made biscuits for all the kids over here this morning.
He built a chicken coop and brooder for me without complaining
He is as worried about the eggs hatching as I am... well not quite!
He sends me a sweet email every morning telling me that I am his love!
He brings me lunch every day so we can spend the ten minutes that our lunches overlap together
He will dance in the kitchen with me
He fills my car with gas
He always holds my hand in the car or whenever we walk anywhere.
He tells me I look hot when I walk in the room
He loves my little lap dog
He loves my kids like they are his.
He has the most beautiful blue eyes!!
When we found out my sister's baby had Downs, he said "That will just make her that much more special to us"

He is wonderful. Much more so than me. But I am trying!

As I said in yesterdays post he got up at 2:30 AM to be to work early enough to be home in time for graduation. We had a neighbor's dog in our yard and that kept him up. He got about 2 hours of sleep. He left for work at 3AM and got home at 5:30 PM, changed his clothes and we were back in town by 6! We live about 11 miles out.

By 9 we were 1 mile from home when I looked in the back seat and noticed we still had my sons backpack. He stayed in town with a friend and we were spose to drop it off at the friends house! I offered to leave him home and run back to town myself because he had to be to work by 5am today!

He just smiled and turned the pickup around! I love him so much!!!!

On top of that he is trying to get done as early as he can today so he can spend time with DS and his friend. They are staying at our house tonight.

I may have taken the long way, but I sure am glad that long road led to him!

He gets up before me and turn the chickens out of the coop and takes the dogs for a walk. after almost 56 years I think He's perfect.Years ago someone asked me from his work how I had put with him so long, and I just answered, You can't improve on perfection. No more questions from anyone.

Just a few:

He shaved my legs for me when I was HUGE pregnant, and couldn't reach them myself.

He builds me things and fixes things without making me beg or nag.

He watched Fireproof with me and liked it, even though he thought it would be a "chick flick".

When I develop an interest in something, he learns about it too so we can do it together. Like my new quail obsession, for example.

A friend of my DH sent that movie home with him. At first we were a little puzzled, Did the friend think we were having problems? Turns out he just thought we would enjoy it, and we did. Wasn't it great?!

One good thing.....I don't know if I can just name one.....

He still thinks I'm beautiful even though I gained A TON of weight.

He lets the chickens out in the morning so I don't have to.

He's patient even when I'm the evil stepmother.

He's a Jesus Freak......

And that's all I'm gonna mention for now....Now, nobody bring this up the next time I have a "stupid hubby" rant....LOL!!!

That's the idea! Once a day think of one good thing no matter how many things s/he has done. It makes thinking positively about them a habit! And a good one to get into!

DH had to go to work this AM, but our little one was sick last night and he offered to get up with me to help with her if she was vomiting! I love that he has always gotten up during the night if the kids get sick so I can tend the kid while he changes the bed and everybody gets comfortable again and back to sleep that much faster!

MY FIL asked me the other day, "DO you two ever fight?"

I just smiled at him and said, "We disagree occassionally, but we don't fight."
