2 things! After I finish my shift tonight I am on vacation for 9 days. The step kid's mommy is not taking him for Thanksgiving after all ( I feel so bad for him as he was expecting it). I really, really wanted him to be with us for the first time in 5 years and now he is. Little confused on this one. Happy he is staying at home with us, hurting for him because she let him down.

I get to go HOME today, after a very long time being away! Just have to take a test and finish packing up the critters!

There's enough food left over from yesterday's office potluck for us to have lunch out of it today!

...and I don't care if it IS still early, pecan pie with a cup of coffee is heaven in a cubicle!

Want to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving, and am posting that I don't have to go crazy with the desserts today.

I got to drive my four wheeler after a long time of not driving it. I also brought in a ton of firewood to feed the woodstove with. And the best part was having some leftover homemade chocolate pie.
