Tell me something GOOD that happened to you today.

I survived yesterday. Today is our big Thanksgiving meal and yesterday I made: lemon meringue pie, pumpkin pie, apple pie, dinner rolls, chocolate chip cookies and jalapeno cheese bread. All from scratch. I have the turkey in the oven and all I have to do is the applesauce, potatoes, beans and fudge.

I went downtown to my cousins gift shop to show my support for small businesses, came home with a cute owl ornament for my tree and I help my mother make a donation to Heifer International. Productive and relaxing day!!

From the three turkey carcasses that they would have pitched, I got 5lb. of meat and canned 6 qt. of stock. Let nothing go to waste, in this economy.
