Ok, so this was yesterday, but it takes me this long to figure out how to download pics.
As some of you know, we had a freak snowstorm Halloween, some it hit worse than others.
I did get some snow, but not too bad.
Yesterday, I worked outside in the yard, IN SHORTS, and found this little guy hiding behind the fence... cool!

I went out to check on the fall garden we have growing under a small mini-greenhouse of plastic sheeting and discovered that my lettuces are finally growing and doing well!

I think the plastic sheeting was just what they needed.

Today was raining, so I found out that my newly built chicken coop stays quite dry except in a few small places

I got tree put up and fully decorated and my children apologized for driving me & husband nuts all afternoon!!

Only five of us turned up to school this morning for designated "swot time" and I've been having a nice time chillin' here listening to banter about electromagnetic fields and going on BYC.

13 of 13 chicks hatched

DD, SIL, and DGS came to visit, MIL & FIL came over also. DD and SIL have birthdays 3 days apart (11/25 & 28), made same cake as their wedding cake, DD chose the meal (salmon chowder from Food Network magazine), had a great visit. DGS is 9 months old - it goes by so fast! Tomorrow is also MIL & FIL anniversary, I need to figure out a special meal for them!
