Yay Chicks! Please post the recipe!!!!! Sounds wonderful! It has been a very good few days catching up with friends. There has also been a break in the rain. So nice to get the chickens out while I get some yard work done.

Was it a meringue cookie or a cake with meringue?

I guess you would call it a cookie. It was like a stiff meringue with crushed hazelnuts throughout and a dusting on the outside. I googled some pictures of meringue "kisses", which looked similar, although this was much larger and kind of swirled up to the peak. I knew I should have taken a picture.
