I took my dog for a walk, and simply enjoyed the beauty of the morning. We were blessed with a wonderful rain shower during the night, so the prairie was glistening, flower petals were shining and birds were singing. A truly beautiful start to the day.

I've been in a slump for some time. No real reason in particular other than wishing I got a word from jobs that I have applied. I called them and they said the interviewing process is still taking place/resumes are still being reviewed. Our finances are somewhat stable and that's only because we don't spend money on crap. However, I get called off a lot from my job. Our money go towards necessities and the only thing we splurge is our internet access, which is $35 a month. After our expenses we normally have less than $25 to live off. We are thankful to not have a car payment, huge house payment ($400 a month), and we are responsible with our money. Everyday i pray that no major financial debt comes along and socks us one. Sometimes I wonder if we should get rid of our internet for awhile. Might be the best thing we can do to save money.
