Missinng my birds so it made my day.

I went to the Oakdale cheese factory and they had some cute animals out there, so I got to feed a very sweet llama! Her little soft lips were so gentle when she took the pellets!! I cannot wait to move to the country where I can add to my menagerie!!

Just removed a 3 foot (okay, exaggeration... 3 cm is the actual size.) piece of glass out of my mother's foot succesfully even though I hate removing foreign objects from other people's feet and stuff. *happy sigh*

I got out my Murray McMurray Hatchery catalog today because it's time for me to order some new hens to replace my old ones who aren't laying that good anymore... I love looking through my chicken catalogs, it's so much fun! IDK, it just never gets old looking at the pictures and reading the descriptions... I think I've read over my catalog so many times I could just about recite the descriptions from heart :) Haha

Ok, this was not today, but this past weekend I went to a fiber festival. Got my year's worth of yarn from the people that hand dye it. Bought some beautiful sheep and angora fiber for spinning. Took great silk dyeing and wool spinning classes. Coolest part? Spotting a BYC bumper sticker in the parking lot.

it won't be long before you think they are worth more then the house you bought. and you'd probably be right.
now you get the fun of finding out what kind you have.

Just saw this now, still not completely sure on the chickens, because. . . .
the day after we closed I fell and broke my right leg and ankle

I do have some light brahma, red sex link and something else.

My good thing for today is that I washed my hair at the sink all by myself
