My family is visiting this weekend. Although the grandkids had been down by train, I hadn't seen my daughter in almost two years!

We found a gardener for $12.50 a week.

Got the tin roof done on the shelter in the pen where the brooder coop is located. Only got 1 more roof to go!

went to the critter pet supply auction today.
50 lb bag of carrots $4.00
24 10lb bags of canidae dog food $2.00 per bag
36 bags organic holistic dog treats, 12 bottles cat shampoo, 3 reptile waterers, 5 brushes, $22.00

went on a beautiful drive to Myakka state park, we saw deers, little pigs and tons of birds, even wild turkeys, it was about 75 degrees. "usually 105"

I got my phone back. Actually I got it back yesterday but I'm still dancing.

We lost power and all technology on 10/29

Grant is in PICU now. Bilateral chest tubes, staph infection is what caused the pneumonia. They are testing him for MRSA. DH is staying with him, I can't risk going in since Thomas and Patrick are still getting breast milk. Right now, they are starting everyone in the house on high dose antibiotics as a precaution.

Only good thing is so far no one else has anything going on.
