I got a beautiful DARK BCM egg today! My first since October 14th! I've two BCMs one is molting and the other just hasn't laid since mid summer. I was just getting up the courage to cull and I got an egg! I'm So excited about it

I got moms Christmas lights up on her house! Done a bit differently this year, new led lights all around the house on the picket fence (two sides) and around the coop. No more red light swags of poinsettias (guess mom did not like them as much as I did) and some new purple lights added.

This might not seem like much, but we had to finish painting a side of the garage and install new rain gutters before the lights went up

Best thing that happened to me today was that I did NOT get my number called for jury duty tomorrow!

My DH knew how much I've been wanting to put up the Christmas tree... It's the 5th of December!!!! So he went out after working late, cut down a very poor excuse of a tree and brought it home for me

Only on the way up our road did he notice the one growing in our front paddock that is a fine specimen! lol

So I decorated the one he brought home and told him just how much I love it.. and I really do.

I got on BYC this morning and found that I had been gifted a 3 month GFM!

Now THAT is something good for sure!

I just want to find out why... I'm so exstaic and appreciative... but I don't know that I deserve it.

We picked up a GSD mix puppy from a rescue on Saturday.

Saturday night, we spent a horrifying night - she had seizures, which I had never experienced before. Yesterday, she was unable to use her back legs, didn't seem mentally there.

The vet wasn't sure if she would make it.

Today, I got a call - she's making amazing progress! She should make a full recovery. She's gonna need a really special name...

My boss was nice today. REALLY nice. It was a really good day at work, we are almost done Christmas shopping too!
