I got to go with my future daughter in law to help her pick out her wedding dress today. We found the perfect dress on clearance and it fit her PERFECTLY needing no alterations at all! It is also my middle daughters 12th birthday and she was amazing about me spending today away from her on her day because her birthday "comes every year, but (her brother) doesnt get married all the time" I got the sweetest message from my son in Spain tonight thanking me for being such a great mom..................it was a great day!

That's awesome. I didn't know he was engaged!!!!

Our good news for the day!!!!! Ken;s SSI disability was approved the first time out.

Went on a class field trip to the Constituition Center in Philadelphia. Finaly set up an appointment to get my braces too. I'm way behind schedule on that one.

I have been unfortunate to learn that the reason his application was accepted is because his condition "will result in death". Small comfort. But we live each day for what it is worth, that is all we can do. Good days we cram FUN into and bad days we just chill.

I am not thankful for his condition, just thankful we do not have to fight for his benefits.

That's the truth, for sure. I try, every single day, to eek out that ONE good thing that happened. Even if it is finding a chocolate I forgot about. When I started this thread, I was annoyed with a lot of negative posts. Now this thread is here to remind me that I really can find one good thing every day. Funny how thing evolve.
