I had my final inspection to become NPIP certified today. I already came back 100% clean on all the blood work. Today they came to inspect the living conditions of my birds and I passed with flying colors! I should have my NPIP # soon!

My missing and presumed dead muscovy duckling magically reappeared in my coop today! I was sure an eagle got him, he's been missing a couple of days!

I had been worrying about the upcoming Board of Supervisors meeting with the agenda item requested by my jerk neighbors to appeal the Admin Hearing which allowed me to keep chickens on this parcel. Knew I had to reduce the number of roosters AGAIN, but the five "core" roos are..... the five core roos! Then Nugget, bantam cochin, started challenging the dominant roo, Carl. Well, that's got to stop.

Today the same old feller with the Amazing Eyebrows who took three bantam roosters a few months ago called me, and he is DELIGHTED to take Nugget. One worry diminished!

I went to a show today, and SOLD TWELVE ROOSTERS!!

Of course, I called my husband to tell him the news, and asked if it was any quieter in my back yard.
He didn't notice.

I FINALLY figured out how to make a video with my digital camera! Woot! It is hilarious!!

I wish I could post it on BYC but I'm not sure if it is "family friendly" or not. It mentions the word "butt" a lot. Music by Eddie Murphy. lol
