Tell me why you keep Roosters...

Well, the six silkies we got as chick's, all turned out to be roosters.. We had already gotten attached to them, and feel as though the deserve to live jjust as much as any other, they can't help the fact they can't lay eggs.. We eventually had to separate them in two groups of three, due to fighting. But the free range rooster have a roost outside, and they all get along just fine, they fight with the other roosters occasionally through the coop.. But easy to break up.. We also got a Bantam rooster with our Bantams, and he, while a loudmouth-his name, we just can't get rid of em over them being boys..

i have five roos and love them all. My Smooth frizzle Cochin doesn't like the Polish, but not much fighting. They are all pets and are good to have around if you want to hatch chicks.

My smooth Frizzle cochin bantam roo and my NN bantam had a baby. The baby is not frizzle-y or NN

pretty good reason. (chin not NN-y just damp from eating yolk.)
