About Me: I am a stay at home mom of three amazing little boys. They are 11, 8, and 7. I have awesome husband who just happens to be active Duty Air force and hasn't lived with us for 3 years.

Soon. Very soon. I am an animal freak. Including chickens, of course, but all others, too. I love them all, even the creepy ones. I will relocate a black widow or even a rattlesnake, but am insanely terrified of Granddaddy long legs. Would never hurt one, but it is one thing that makes me scream like a girl.

Oh, as for famous relatives, I am related to James K Polk on my mothers side, Thomas Jefferson on my Dad's side. My husband is a descendant of Lizzie Borden which our kids think is just tooooooo cool!!!

About Me: I am a confusing person. I am related to John McDonald, the very first prime minister of Canada. I am fluent in Russian, can speak some Spanish and little bits of other random languages like Swedish. I work at the hardware store. I have worked at a cow dairy milking about 150 jerseys 3 times a day then I went on to a goat dairy milking about 40 does 2 times a day.
I was in FFA and was the treasurer. While in FFA I did many things such as soil and land judging, dairy foods, livestock judging, public speaking, ag issues, and some other things. I have been in 4-H for about 5 or 6 years, I am now too old for it.
I am quiet around new people but when I am around friends I never shut up. I have a huge knowledge of many things, alot of them useless. For example I know that there are quite a few types of apple trees that are not self polinating. Or mangalitza pigs (wooly pigs) were once very common in England but were almost extinct so people in the UK imported them from the Netherlands. Dont ask my how I know that or why I know that, its just one of the random things I have in my head.
I pretty much know the standard of perfection by heart and can tell you what breeds were used to create other breeds if it says so in the standard. I know many many tail angles of chickens. I know alot about breeds I have never owned and probably never will.
I am always making new breeds of birds in my head and alot of people turn to me for breeding advice and then they are very shocked when I ask them something, lol.

About Me: Okay, here it goes. Let's see. I'm a freshmore (freshman in some subjects, sophomore in others) home schooler. I love my family, my friends are pretty cool, too. I love to sing, I don't always do it well, but I enjoy it anyway. Writing is one of my favorite things to do, reading being the other. Dancing is fun, though I won't dance in front of many people. Math isn't my favorite subject in the world...English rocks my socks. Sarcasm is my strong point. I don't like to be accused of forcing my beliefs on anyone. I simply want to throw my opinion out there. I LOVE to debate. I don't like debating with people who don't know what they're talking about, but are too stubborn to realize that they're wrong, though. Another thing about myself is that I'm terrible at trying to describe myself, if you haven't noticed. Horses are my life. They've always been my passion. I'm in between ownership right now because I can't afford it. I used to breed and raise Dutch & Mini-Rex rabbits, showing state wide. I'm about to get back into breeding Dutch to show in 4-H. I'm very political, I always have been. I volunteer my time to local campaigns. I was on the 2007 Bobby Jindal for Governor campaign, and I'm currently devoting my time to the McCain~Palin campaign. I'm not very controversial, but I will stand up for myself and what I believe. God is the foundation of my everything, I am NOTHING without him.

I love to go out and have a good time with people. I LOVE to mud ride, fish, and hunt. Hunting for me isn't a sport, I do it because I'd much rather eat something that I helped to nourish, that's all natural, and that I know how it was processed. I refuse to put up with guys today. I'll take the chivalrous, respectful, romantic southern gentleman, please. As rare as they are, I'll find one. I find myself listening most often to the songs I can relate my life to. I'm highly concerned with the genocide issue in Darfur. I'm also very concerned with our wildlife, not only local, but around the world.

I can be either very outspoken and confident, or very shy and insecure. It all depends. I like people with expansive vocabularies. I like learning. I LOVE foreign languages. I eventually want to travel all over the world, the top places on my list are: Germany, Ireland, Russia, Japan, Africa, and Peru. I have many things in mind as far as my college major. I'm so torn! I feel my calling is toward troubled teen counseling, though. I think that's why I am / have gone through some of the rough spots that I have. I'm interested in law. Everything about it. The process, the way they're applied, etc. My minor will no doubt be poli-sci, though. I would like to be an equine vet. When I grow up, I would LOVE to own alot of land, and maybe rehabilitate abused horses. Who knows.

About Me: currently a librarian in a small town, really really small.
we have a 108 acre farm in the high allegheny mtns., but are moving soon to the northern neck of virginia.
we keep honeybees and have a small retail shop and web site to sell our honey and beeswax products .
we spend most of our time doing things at the farm , enjoying the outdoors and traveling to our saiboat in virginia. we have a 22' marshall catboat and a skerry wherry .
