. My legs are getting worn out walking down the hill to the hen house a few times a day.

I have 20 Rhode Island Reds.Got my first egg at 18 weeks.I average between 16 and 18 eggs everyday.I have had one triple yolk and multiple double yolks. They will be six months old August 8th.

My faverolle and 2 EE's all started laying around 20-21 weeks. My Delaware, Welsummer and Australorp have yet to start, and they're coming up on 23 weeks. I put my Delaware in the nest last night and had a little talk with her. I want some brown eggs!

I've only had 1 batch of chickens reach laying age so far. But they started at 22 weeks.
