This is probably just my imagination, but oftentimes when I lay down at night to go to sleep and get a..l..m..o..s..t there, I hear a growl right next to my ear that "wakes" me up. It is so very annoying.
I have had several experiences, but none of them have repeated themselves. I heard footsteps banging in the attic one night, I was so scared that I grabbed my pistol and was going to go check it out, but it was just so loud, booming across the ceiling, and sounded so angry, I froze and couldn't move to go check it out.
I saw an apparition of a young girl in a pale blue gown in a mirror once in my son's room.
I was leaving work one night and saw a man standing in the screw machine department. He was just standing there, looking out over the machinery.
I was leaving work another night and saw a man walk through the machines.
I was at work one night (this was a joint experience). There were 4 people there. Two of the people were in the front office, and me and the other guy were in a supervisors office. We heard what we thought was the owner page my co-worker to do something, but we didn't know what because that part was garbled. So, he left to go up to the owner's office to see what he wanted. A few seconds later, the owner did page, whoever paged, please call his extension. I walked up there and asked him "does that mean you didn't page him' and both he and his wife swore that neither of them used the intercom.
Another time at work, I was leaving for the day and had the sound of papers being rustled up a wall right by my ear.
My son who is twelve comes home and stays by himself for about 15-30 minutes until my hubby gets home everyday after school. He called me in a panic one day because he was using the restroom and saw a guy walk by the door. I told him to go and hide in the woodshed until Dad gets home. He said, I don't have to mom, there isn't anyone here, but he was so scared!
My dog one time was randomly barking, snarling and growling at a cabinet in the kitchen. When I picked her up to check the cabinet, she squirmed to get out of my arms instead of sniffing like I believe she normally would. She barked at that darn cabinet for 2-3 minutes before she finally stopped.
When I was much younger, my Mom was sick and I was staying at her house. She had a get-well balloon tied to an oscillating fan. It was about half filled, and floating pretty low. My brother and I were sleeping in the living room. I woke suddenly in the middle of the night, and witnessed a round object float up to the ceiling and into my Mom's room. It was odd that I went right back to sleep. I really didn't think much of it. The next morning, I woke up, seen the balloon still tied to the fan, and my brother and I both looked at each other and both said what the heck was that then? We jumped up and went to my Mom's room. The basketball that was in the living room behind the recliner my brother was sleeping in was now in my Mom's room. The most eerie thing about this whole story to me is that I didn't know at the time that my brother had suddenly awoke and seen the same thing, but the next morning, there was an awareness that he did. This even sticks out in my mind so clearly, as though it could have happened five minutes ago. I still get goosebumps.
