The endangered species permit is free, unlike the permits required for migratory waterfowl. I do not believe that the greys are endangered. There are other pheasant species on the endangered species list. I think both of them lay clutches of two eggs, one the PP that only has one egg clutches that I know of is the Bornean Peacock Pheasant since I love them and have researched them. There were some GPP hatching eggs on eBay, so it is a good thing I did not buy any. Tony down in the pheasants department poly wraps his pens and his greys do fine. There are pictures of his hen and chicks in the thread that is linked above. I am pretty sure they are good broodies too unlike some pheasants.
