i am new at incubating and wondering what temperature is best my bator is at 37.5 celcius and humidity is 75 to 80 %

Will that work? it is day 5 and when should i candle them?

Have you checked out the infor in the learning center yet? It has some essential reading for first-timers. You temp is fine for forced air but your humidity is much too high.

You are shooting for 102 for still air and 99.5-100 for forced air.
Humidity should run 40-50% for the first 18 days adn 65% the last 3.

i have a hova bator and the water is under the eggs so can i quickly take out the eggs and dump out the water? will that harm them?

You could put aluminum foil over part of the water. Put it over about half the water and see what it brings it down too. Humidity is based on the surface area of the water, so if you cover some of it it will bring humidity down.

With either method you will have to remove the eggs. It is probably easier to dump it quickly. Your eggs should be fine. I dry incubate mine and, since I live in FL, my humidity stays at 40% even without water.

Amen, brother Davaroo!!
