Set eggs in incubator on Saturday. Temps fluctuate between 99 and 101 without touching the controls....... I have a thermometer and hygrometer inside to monitor. Do I need to worry? Actually, can't think of anything to worry about, because I can't think of anything to do. Since this is my first time with incubating, do any of you have any suggestions?

It'll be fine. As long as it doesn't fall below 98 and over 101. You should always have the bator running at least one day before you set eggs so you can deal with fluctuations.

Good luck

I did have it running and it still had the fluctuations. I don't have another incubator, so I went ahead and set the eggs. Thanks for the reply. If it stays within this range, then hopefully things will be okay.

no problem at all, even mine 90-110 deg

and filled with CO2 bator.

some will survive and some won't if the fluctuation is been over.

and yes, you have problem, you should have not only 1 thermohygro, at least 2 and better 3 to compare each other temp and to find which is more accurate or take 3 temps and get average temp.

good luck.
