first time incubating chicken eggs, got a thermometer and it's accuracy is 0.5 i read it and it showed to be 98 degrees it was like this until i fixed the temp
will the eggs still hatch? :fl thanks!

Here’s what I do… I don’t trust the incubator readings. The incubator floor will read differently, so I always place thermometers and hygrometers around the incubator at egg level. That way gives me accurate readings. Lower temperature is probably just going to lead to a later hatch date.

the incubator says it's 0.1 to 0.2 degrees accurate
the thermometer says it's 0.5 to 1 degree accurate
so i kinda trust the incubator more bc of better accuracy but idk.... :idunno
also the thermometer says it's 101.3 but the incubator says it's 99.5...
