We are putting down brand new grass on our property, right outside of our barn where the chickens reside at night to sleep. I need to keep them away for a few weeks. My chickens are all usually free ranged 24/7 but I know people keep their chickens in a closed run 24/7 also. Would my chickens be okay locked up for a few weeks? I know they won't be happy but all I'm worried about is they stay healthy. I think they have enough space, and the roof is missing some roofing pieces, so they have sky lights lol.

How many birds? It looks like a big structure so as long as you don't have a large flock space shouldn't be an issue. They may temporarily stop laying from stress or lack of light, though maybe it's brighter in there than photos indicate.

Yeah, I took this at bedtime. I had forgotten to take during the day pics lol. I have 38 chickens all together. I will post some pics I have in my phone from during daytime and also find a good outside pic. I try keep it clean the best I can.
