I have a white silkie that is about 6 months old and it shows some signs of being roo-ish but they are so hard to tell unless they crow for me. I may have one but if I do he's still not old enough to breed. I'll just have to wait because I sure don't need 2 of them. Space is seriously limited here. We plan to move hopefully before the brunt of winter hits but we also need to build another pen. Just something else to have to move but we need the pen.

Bought a breeding trio from Foley's then added a bunch of chicks which are way too cute..wait all chicks are! The new chicken house is almost finished now..can't wait for more space.This one is 8x16 so it will hold one or two but still need a new bantam house..that will come in the Spring

A wonderful BYC'r just brought me 2 White Silkie roos, a White Silkie hen and 3 beautiful White Silkie babies. I'm in love love love!!

In turn, she got 2 more of my Sebastopol geese and a Pekin drake.

And today the Silkie hen laid her first egg! YAY!!!

I have a bunch of extra bantam cochins.......selling only in pairs. Blacks and black crosses (split lav), a buff/mille cross hen, a mottled/mille cross roo, gold laced pair, etc. 1 partridge pair if you play your cards right
