How'd you make them? If you don't mind me asking, I have several of those hog pans that I have to dump each morning and fill with warm water.

I received all my inspiration from BYC'rs.
Let me see if I can link you:
Here is one-

I can't find the other page I used for directions. You can do a BYC search also...very easy. PM me if you have any questions.
PLEASE NOTE: make sure your plug is GFCI(or is it GCFI?) so no one gets shocked!

Thanks!!! I'll be going to the stores soon

I've got... 3-5 to make. The GFCI thing my hubby would have told me without me even telling him

he's an electrical/mechanical engineer, we had to buy a gfci plug in (you plug it into an existing plug) for the horse water trough heater. He's also good with building things and we have sooo many tools that he doesn't trust me with

I love him though!

Yah, I used to have a ringtone of my oldest hen squapping, but I had to change it 'cause every time it rang I thought it was the chickens and I never answered the phone . . .

Alright, I went through and counted chicks tonight. Looks like, of 26 chicks, I have 12 girls and 14 boys. Current plan is to grow up the boys to 4 months and then sell/giveaway for butchering in a large group. However, anyone who wants a "pet" rooster can pick one out first. They are ALL Olive Egger boys. Came from Olive Egger hens crossed to Cochin roosters. A few may be crossed to an Ameracauna rooster instead. Nearly all are feather legged. A few are blue wheatens. Some are bearded. Lots of really neat color combinations. Would be great roosters for an Easter Egger pen/flock. Anyone needs 1 (or 13 and is willing to keep them under heat and take immediately), PM me.

Way too much time on their hands...I wonder if we could have the largest group of dancing chickens here?
