I had a bad hatch a couple weeks ago and have a lonely little chick. It loves the mirror but i need to find it a real chick to grow up with. Does anyone have any chicks that hatched around the middle of December? Im close to Chattanooga, but go towards Nashville quiet often.

Hello everyone!
I''m in North middle TN, about 20 min. from the KY border. I'm interested in Lavendar Ameraucanas, and in Black/Blue/Blue Splash Marans. I love the dark chocolate eggs and the blue eggs. I had some predator problems this past summer and lost over half my flock before I finally caught the critters, and of course, the ones I lost were mostly my rare breeds....

very disheartening....anyway, I'd be interested in hatching eggs or chicks if anyone has any!!

Thankyou so much... It would be tempting to purchase without going to see the actual property without looking , even though I send my realtor out. But in the end , the 13 hour drive would be a snap, compared to buying a hideous ptrperty. Thanks ever so much again. What state are you from??

Are you still looking to buy in TN? We have our place for sale, 26 acres and an older farm house, barn/outbuildings, fenced and cross fenced....

Wow-That sounds like an awesome place!!.. it is alot od acerage. What condition is the house i?? and how many bed? bathrooms??

The house was built in about 1900, it has been added onto and remodeled, has 3 bedrooms, 1 bath. about 1500 sq. ft. Has central heat (propane) and air. (We installed a wood burning stove and use it as our main heating source) A 10K generator (propane) 2 car garage with attached storage room, a 36X60 barn with 5 stalls, room for 5 more. Water and electric to barn, electric to garage, 12X12 woodshed. Chicken house is a converted dog kennel. Garden area. Wet weather creek runs through. It has a couple good building sites, approx. 1/2 wooded, 1/2 open. Septic and city water. 2 carports.
