Test Batch #2 - Welsummer Eggs, beautiful, dark eggs. 8+ PICS

Test Batch #2 for fertility. I am wanting to test the fertility of my Welsummer girls. I have 6 under a broody right now at varying stages....looked in tonight and there is development in 2 of the 3 that are the oldest.....will check the other 3 later in the week, I started them on Saturday. Since I put these under, I've separated the rooster and Welsummer hens from the rest of the girls, so it is 1 Roo to 4 hens.

I will collect Wednesday through Friday & take them to the post office here on Saturday. I'm right at the airport post office, so they will go directly out and not have to wander through the Charlotte system. You would most likely get them on Monday.

The eggs are nice & dark. One of the girls lays a lighter egg, but I will include the darkest ones gathered over those days. Most likey 9-10 eggs.

Please keep me updated on the progress so that I know I'm on the right track with everything!

I got them as eggs last year from AussieSharon here on the board.
