Ive never seen shown peacocks nor have i tried to tether one. But that doesnt mean it isnt and cant be done properly. I get that Kathy. I would assume the judges supervise when the tethering is needed or required. Thats like when somebody has a bird of prey. Well ya dont use the legband tether connected to the leash the whole time ....just when needed for a little control. See what Im getting at. Also if that peas head is covered while tethered it may not freak as much. Just thoughts on this is all Im saying, I get that most say Tethers be d***ed. I try and keep an open mind. Kid didnt get what was required of trying to tether sounds like. What little I know about peas I would prefer some kind of cage. Better to maybe ask why this is also prefered as well by falconers. Thought provoking to say the least.
