Oh geez.. we can have 75 one day and 20's the next..

You've probably packed right.. it's cool/cold at night .. warm in the day..

Have fun!

I always wear a short sleeved shirt with a jacket. It's cold in the mornings, warm in the afternoons, then cold in the evenings. I suggest layers that can be easily removed.

Jeans Ts and a jacket. You'll be all set!

What are you going to do with all your chickens?

Are you going to be near San Antonio?

Texas Weather is NUTTY... today is chilly, but not freezing... tomorrow might be 80.

If you KNOW you won't be back home to repack until spring then I'd vote for 2 longsleeves (one thin one thick) and one short sleeve.... just to cover any possibility. That's my opinion based on North Texas, specifically DFW, weather...

Good Luck... and Thank You.

as for the chickens my mom is going to take care of my silkies for no more then 2yrs anything else she can catch probly going to auction only reason im making her keep silkies is becouse i have had alot of trouble getting silkie hens and now that i do have a breeding pair they are tourtoise shell which is pretty rare if im correct and want to just be able to pick them up when i get my own property.

If you don't like the weather here ,wait 15 minutes, it will change. We just had a 40 degree drop thanksgiving. Two short sleeves and two long sleves. Jacket.

You know there is the saying, I wasn't born in Texas but I got here as soon as I could.

First of all, thank you for joining the Air Force. Your service is much appreciated.
San Antonio is absolutely beautiful and there are all kinds of things to do in that area-you'll love it...until summer hits.

You won't be able to shuck those layers fast enough.
Welcome to our beautiful State-you'll love it here and believe me, we love our military guys and gals down here.

Welcome to Texas. It was 27 last night, high of 60 all week, lows of 30's. Next week it could be in the 80's, just never know. Summers are HOT.
