should be soon Alex my LITTLE GAMBLE HEN JUST STARTED THE LAST COUPLA DAYS
I'll have eggs available when they start laying around April or May, but i'm not sure I can do four dozen eggs.
Quote:Actually incubation for valleys is 21 days. Same temp and humidity as bobwhites.
I will have 3 or 4 extra dozens
well any one who can give me a set price and a word bond that they're quail produce fertile eggs will get to become friends with my bank account, i just lined up a trio so i could prob. settle for only two dozen but they must be FRESH.
oh i have another question... with the valley quail are you not able to coax them into laying like coturnix and bob whites? i noticed every one says thier "season" hasnt started... i am just interested. do they have the same feed requirements wild game bird starter? i just dont understand why they arent equally as popular as bobs and coturnix.
I feed mine the same as all my other quail, unmedicated gamebird starter, mealworms, oyster shells, greens. The yummy stuff.
