Don't you just love it when you try to post t a different thread and you get over look and ignored completely. Makes you feel so stupid. I posted to a couple of breed threads of some of my new chicks to try to learn what I can and no one replied at all to me. Why do we venture out..... LOL

It's alright, just don't venture to the Dark Side too much. It's much safer here.

I made these cookies today. Yummy!

Kimberly try this zucchini bread recipe. It's very good.

Lol! This board is my favorite. I look at the other Texas boars too but dont post a ton because...no one responds to me there either! Lol. Or just the people who are on here anyways.
I like the easter Egger boards. Im on the breed thread and the sexing thread. Then the Buff Orp thread Inc in awhile..but thats about it.
ive tried to look at others but..eh.
I found one where you can pretend to be a wild horse! Lol

If she had an egg break internally she'd be showing signs by now correct?
No egg from her today but shea still juat learning

I'm a peeping egg laying tom too!! I saw my BR in the nest so I sat and waited...... and waited.... While I was waiting the Colonel got up on the top of the brooder area and was peeking around the door through the screen at me..... looking at me like... what are you doing>>> LOL I had to laugh. But I wanted to see who was my layer and it was Daisy!!

Mine were watching me, watching them too!! I have pics, I'll try and come back andpost them if I can.

Who has time to play like your something your not? We used to "pretend" play when I was a kid. We either played with our breyer horses, or we were the horse.

@Ms Jellybean ~ Your house is cute! How big is it? I like love my house, but it is too big for DH and me. We need one about 1200 -1300 sq ft at the most. All on one level!

These were standing on the roost ladder looking out as I was trying to get a pic of the BR in the nest. They would keep popping their heads up to see what i was doing.



These were on the run roost trying to get my iphone as I was trying to get a different angle of the BR.

Silly chickens. They are always trying to see what I am doing!

I found one where you can pretend to be a wolf. Very strange!


One more photo of the house. I just love how much better everything looks! Even the roof looks better! My house numbers are on the post (removed them in the pic) that is to the right of the door. they are brown like the chairs.

edit: @henless (now with hens) - Just saw your post. The posts before mine loaded after I posted mine - weird. Anyway, love your house. Mine is 1247 sq.ft. 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. For just Sasha and me it is plenty big.

@Ms Jellybean ~ I had to post mine, then go back and put in the pics. I find it easier to edit/add pics than to put them in the original post.

Your house is the perfect size! We are planning on staying here for a few more years. We are in the "proposed" mining site for one of the local lignite mines. Once they come through we will be relocating. That is if Mr. "O" doesn't put a stop to all the mining.

Yea the dark side can get very ugly! LOL I made Paula Deans recipe and it was good an moist but I am going to make the cream cheese icing in that recipe today. It looks yummy!!! DH had NEVER had it before.... I can't believe it. I know I had make it years ago but he said he never had it so who knows but he loved it. He left this morning to go back to work and took some of it with him. LOL

Well, sweetie.... you need to stay away from the pretend boards.... you need shots and special equipment for those boards and it just isn't worth it. I hear it leaves you feeling dirty and needing a shower. LOL

On a different note.... It was the breed threads for 2 of my new chicks that I was on. I never figured I would be ignored on there. But it was..... at one time I was talked at and then over. LOL There is a rooster love thread that was just started that the couple of people on it were super nice. But some people just get to serious and act like they hate newbies. I love helping others with what little I know. LOL

Yea, she will be ok. Henless posted about it being 25 hours in between lays so maybe that's has something to do with it. I know that don't lay at night either so at some point they will kind of skip a day..... did that make since? LOL

ROFLMBO I love it. I really hate we all are not closer. Y'all make me feel so normal!! I tell my kids about what my ladies and roos do and they look at me like I am crazy. LOL I have pics like that on my phone too. DH looked about my pics the other day and laughed because there are more chicken pic on there than anything else. LOL

I went out this morning to check on everyone and found that my BCM had laid an egg in the temp. pen. I either have to put a nest in there or get them integrated into the general population NOW> LOL


I was so excited!! Not sure if it was laid late yesterday evening or early this morning. I didn't notice it last night when I checked on everyone but I might have just missed it. Oh well. I can't wait to see what I get today. I keep hearing them singing the egg song but that's it. LOL It should be an egg-citing week!!!
