All mine are outside, even the silkies! They have been inside, but obviously prefer to be outside. Fresh Eggs Daily posted this cartoon. I thought it very funny because all my hens are so similar I haven't named them individually
Me being a Harry Potter fan, my 6 reds are The Weaselys, my rooster is Harry, black stars are The Ravenclaws; Silkies are The Hufflepuffs, and my red stars are The Gryffindors. Pretty nerdy for a 62 year old!
I love it!!
I love that you chose the Silkies as Hufflepuffs..lol
I bet there are tons of Harry Potter chickens out there ;)

I saw that cartoon the other day by the way. Lol. My husband used to say that to me. Now he knows their names too! ;)

Nerdy.....I don't think so. Brilliant! (Of course this is coming from a Harry Potter fan and I am 58)

Thanks for the rain thoughts. I have been waiting around the house all week for the roofers to come. Their excuse: the rain. Hellooooooo, it isn't raining at my house!!!

This cartoon reminds me of a story I used to tell my friends at work..... Johnny's father has five sons. Being simple minded and absent minded, he named the first son as Son Number One, the second one he called Son Number Two, the third one being Son Number Three, and the fourth son is called Son Number Four. What did he name the last son?

Seems like a lot of us like HP!

If the roofers show it, it will rain at your house LIsa.

I got another big one from Arnet. I haven't cracked any of hers yet. I need to over the weekend and see if they are double yokers.

Did not know there was so many potter heads here!!been watching the movies again this week.
I love to watch HP. I have the movies, the books and every time its on tv, I watch it! LOL I think the books are MUCH better than the movies. So much has been left out of the movies.

It's been raining off/on here most of the day. Well, at work and all evening since I've been home. Forgot to check the ran gage,I'll have to do that tomorrow.

I got another rubber egg this morning, and an egg without a shell. They were next to each other on the poop board. Guess I'm gonna have to go out in the morning before light to see who is "letting one loose" at night.

Brookshier & A1mom ~ Are ya'll still getting "misfires" from your hens?
