If only we were closer!

I lost sweet Pearl today
sad.png

My dad came up and I put the dogs in the back while I picked up. In a the bustle and bustle of getting us all out the door, I forgot to bring them back in. Cash is still little and he has lab in him...Josh stopped me as I was going to check on them. He cleaned up...but there are still feathers everywhere. I'm keeping a few, and I have her last egg saved back, to blow out. I'm going to make a little shadow box for her

I am so sorry. I know her death is devastating to you.

Girl you have had a year of it haven't you!? I'm so sorry. I'd send a hug but my phone won't allow that.

Mel, you are so sweet, thank you :)

Hung, he is adorable!!!

I think Ava is getting leg mites. She has a long line of red, irritated scales up both sides of her legs and a few that are starting to raise on the top. I noticed yesterday when I was checking everyone over but just put some coconut oil on the tops. Guess I should do it all over now. Will she need a soak as well? Or just the oil?

When mine had mites there weren't any on their legs just tons and tons on their skin. I coated and covered every inch with sevin dust. The bugs literally fell off of them. Gross

Poor babies :(
I just brought her in and gave her a soak in the bathroom sink. She did really well, just was freaked out by the transitions I think. She was still for her soak, and let me scrub her legs with an old toothbrush, then freaked out when I dried her off. But stood still again while I "painted" her legs with coconut oil and an old paintbrush lol. Shes the only one walking funny, like her steps are heavier. But ill probably get all of them this week just in case
