I used to have a recipe years ago and I lost itl It was kinda of like chex mix but way better. You took like a box of rice squares and pretzels, chile cheese fritos, nuts, lots of stuff like that and mixed it up then you took veg oil and seasoned salt , woshistiar (sp?) sauce and heated it then poured it over hte mixture and baked it. If anyone knows measurements I would love to have them.

Here is my recipe for Texas Trash:

3/4 stick butter, melted
1/4 cup hot pepper sauce (Frank's, Texas Pete, etc.)
2 TB Worcestershire Sauce
1 TB chili powder
1 t. dried oregano, crumbled
2 cups regular Fritos corn chips
2 cups Crispix cereal
2 cups Ritz Bits with cheese
2 cups corn nuts (opt.)
1 1/2 c. fish shaped pretzels
1 cup pumpkin seed nuts, roasted
1 cup roasted peanuts
2/3 cup shelled sunflower seeds

Hea oven to 250 degrees F. In a 9" X 13" baking pan, melt butter; blend in hot sauce, W. Sauce, chili powder and oregano.

Combine the rest in a large bowl. Add to the baking pan that contains the butter and seasonings. Toss to coat well; continue tossing after you think it is well coated. Ha!

Bake 1 hour, stirring every 10 minutes. Cool. Store covered in an airtight container.

note: I say the corn nuts are optional, but that's just because I don't like them.
