cold and raining here..

my old livestock dog has decided she's tired of living... so I'll be burying her as soon as this lets up..

Oh no! I can't imagine how you feel. When my pyrs die, I think I'll be sad for weeks. Condolences.

I should get a zebra....there's no deed restrictions against zebras. Just deed restrictions for horses and cattle (one for every two acres). I think a zebra would be a wonderful addition....

I'm joking. I don't want a zebra; but, I do see that they have Nigerian Dwarfs scheduled to be there.......

Buffy is our "blonde". Almost seriously. She's a buff coloured partridge. Beautiful plumage. I'm actually considering trying to see if I can breed it; but, yeah....I have enough projects....no messing with that. Anyway - she's also our most....clueless...chicken. Eventually, she did find her way out; but, yeah. Too funny.

I bet we all have a 'Buffy' in our midst! Mine is Dottie, a Barred Rock. She gets lost constantly. I can hear her in the house panicking. I go out to help her and the girls are usually right around the corner. (We named her Dottie because of her 'lack of mind').

Can't wait to see 'The Broken Yolk" finished!

We have horses, goats, Jacob Four Horn sheep, over 100 rabbits, approx. 300 head of several breeds of chickens, Guineas, 1 Brahman bull, 2 emu's, 1 pot-bellied pig, 1 wild sow, 3 Great Pyrenees, 1 Blue heeler, 1 BlueHeeler - Border Collie cross, & 1 Miniature Longhaired Dachshund.

And, I'm excited, too - he hasn't shown me the design plan he has for this one. So, it's as much an unknown to me as the rest of yah.
