I use it to make their guts acidic to help with parasites and what not. I take a shot every once in a while myself. For some reason I have always liked it.
I figure they get vitamins in the feed and veggies I give them. I do give them ACV with the mother every few bottles or so. It also helps keep the nipple watering system clean.

I use it for this as well. Have not had any coccidiosis and the ACV keeps that invisible slimey feeling down in watering devices. Have never had any problems with chicken health even using it in hot weather.

I just started using ACV I had a bird that had some upper respiratory junk going on and I think it really help him keep eating and drinking I have used it on my horses but never chicken

The horses I used it on was on some strong med he developed ulcers and with the use of ACV and aloe juice he no longer has to have ulcer guard that is out of this world so I have had good luck wit ACV

Every time our chickens do something stupid, I am reminded why we eat chicken.

It says to give it to dehydrated chickens but NOT to healthy ones.
