hey guys!!! had an awesome day yesterday! 2 yokies hatched! so that makes 3 so far! broody is better! I now have all 3 of my game hens going broody and about a week to a week and a half apart!

missed it by 1%!!!!
all the instructors have a professionalism grade... she hasn't given that to me yet and im not sure if I will receive it because below 60% no ec will be given...
I embraced so much suck with that course I don't even want to continue if I majicly pass! DW is praying I pass so I can have another dream job! lol not cut out for that type of career yet I guess?
 
I think the sooner you integrate them the better, they are really young and don't have an established pecking order yet. I integrated my 2 day old chicks and my 3 week old chicks within two days of getting the new babies, and that was against the suggestion of the woman I bought the two babies from, she said the older ones would peck the babies to death, but I started with putting them together a little at a time, and as the time got longer and longer, I realized they didn't have any issues, and they all have lived happily together since

I'm going to be putting these on craiglist, but wanted to see if any of you peeps in Texas were interested. We took down an old horse pen and I talked my dad out of burning the boards. They are 10 feet long, 1X16 and mostly in pretty good shape. Some are a little split on the ends and there are some nails. Would be great for a coop project! Free to good home <g> I'm located in Cypress - which is the NW side of Houston.
