It's really bad this year! We have been fortunate at our house! In the past we would add garlic powder or brewers yeast to our dog/cat food and it seemed to work. Can chickens handle those in there food?

We always have bad fleas, especially on the outside dogs. But haven't had a big problem this year. Main issue is I am very allergic. Right now I look like a chigger ridden leprosy carry zombie my legs are so beat up.

Have found one tick on my boxer.. no fleas.. now fire ants... a different story! Woke up this morning to them taking over the house! Coming from Wyo/MT I am new to these things.. OUCH!

*knock on wood* i've only ever found 3? ticks in 28 years. We have a bad ant problem *pick a species, insert here*, but they typically stay out of the general walking areas. Mosquitos are a totally different story. Ohemgee.

Ants are driving me crazy too I get bit everyday, their everywhere, esp. since the little storm yesterday. I'm having problems with them in my kitchen the last 3 days, can't seen to find where their coming from.
