I've got a friend how is a human medical doctor of Indian (country) background. He's offered to hold my hand when the time comes. My problem is I can't get my wife on board to kill the worthless silkies. We have one good broody who's raising 4 remaining of 6 EEs we got a few weeks ago and slipped under her at night.Did you check out that BackYard Chicken Thread, "Processing Day Support Group~HELP us through the Emotions PLEASE!"? When I was in Grade 8, we were dissecting frogs. The science teacher thought dissecting pithed frogs would be a great idea. Let's just say, that whole episode left quite the impression on me. I, too, thought I could never do something like slaughter a chicken and that I would starve or die of malnutrition if I did. I just think morally, it is better to raise a happy chicken that has one bad day. It's an ethical issue with me. Before I got chickens, I was assured by the feed store that she knew someone who processes chickens for people. As soon as I bought the chickens, she let me know he didn't do it anymore. I looked high and low for someone to process them for me to no avail.
Where is this guy located?
I agree that different dogs act different ways but if you have been around dogs and understood them like you say you do then you have to also agree that when your relating a female to a male the thinking and actions are as different as apple and oranges and as you cannot judge an apple for turning red you cannot expect a female to act like a male... Unless their transgender! Lmao![]()
I truly did not mean to offend you or anyone else. I hope this thread does not get shut down. I like you guys. Why would you say this?
In my opinion people who have to list their credentials in their talking points are full of hot air!sorry no offense I'm just a stinker!![]()
