Thanks Rachael, she is hell on wheels. From what I understand from my mother, that is my fault, though I still argue that the short temper she gets from me, but the bad temper she gets from Daddy. These little quotes made me think of her (and me, according to DH)

Well, with all of this dog talk I'll share this....

We had a Shar Pei for over 15 years and she passed about three years ago and we are ready for another Shar Pei. I found a really good looking dog that a lady up near Tyler bought. I PM'd her today and she responded saying that the breeder she bought from....in Missouri, has a female from the same litter that can't be shown because she has a spotted tongue. The lady offered to contact the breeder for me!

I have looked at rescues and shelters and haven't found anything we want...so, fingers crossed we could get her...and please let me find a way to convince my husband we have to drive to MO to buy a dog!

Wendi:  You are so doomed!

Still TBD. The poor thing has progressed from being put in a dog kennel across the pasture to a crate inside our shop. We let him run around the shop for awhile, and he is very well behaved. Mostly he just sat by my DH, very calmly, wanting to be petted and shake hands. If no attention was given, he just laid down with his head by my husband's foot. This dog is SMART. He knows that the key to his staying is winning over my DH.

The only kink is our other big dog (also a male). Our female boxer could care less, but our big dog barked rather aggressively at him. If big dog won't play nice, then for his own sake this poor puppy will have to find a home somewhere else...

Here are some of the babies I've been busy hatching.
Silkies, Swedish flower hens, and jersey giants. Even my
Nigerian dwarf goat enjoys watching the little ones in the juvenile pen!
