Quote: This is the world we live in, we are all victims of our own demise....The public school system is only a small part of the enormous problem of what we have evolved into as a human beings...until the human race can learn to throw itself off a cliff leming style, the problems will continue to compound and rather quickly as we hurtle towards the saturation point. The problems all started when we stopped having to be concerned with how we are going to survive and feed ourselves....other less critical things start becoming important out of shear boredom or lack of something better. Idle hands are the devil's workshop and things came to the forefront that really don't amount to the values we have placed upon them as the super civilized occupants of a doomed earth. My father-in-law always carried a card in his billfold and anytime he would stray off course he would take it out and read it: Happiness is not having what you want....it is wanting what you have....it has helped me thru several distressing moments....We live in a corrupt, selfish, greedy society where everything has been turned bassackwards and people have lost a sense of decency and integrity and most having completely unrealistic expectations. Sad but true and we should all feel a little bit of responsibility, even if it comes from nothing more than complancency. I will jump off my soap box now, lol.
