Texas

I heard about Rosetta but didn't know how it works. Your memory is excellent so you must stay very young, my guess. Yes, Cat=Mèo, Dog=Chó, and Ball=Banh. One of my sister names Tâm, so she picked her US name as Tammy.

I drive TX130 daily (Pflugerville-San Marcos) and the first year I did collect so many tickets. One time, I almost tried the trick of playing a dumb chinese and asked the man in blue if 130 was the speed limit. I stopped in time since the man looked so mean.

Maybe this weekend, I can try 130 and tell the man in blue that I am one of the NASCAR driver and he can have my autograph or take picture with me if he can smile.

Good Morning everyone!!

Hungnguyen you remind me of my niece! She got pulled over and pretended to be nervous, upset because the cop was going to give her a ticket for speeding. The cop felt sorry for her and let her go. A month goes by and she got pulled over again for speeding. She started to do her act without looking to see who the police officer was. Yep, the same one that pulled her over the first time!! She got the ticket and a lecture! She hasn't sped since!!

Lisa :)

I will find out where they get the chicks from and ask about them ordering for me. I don't plan to show or breed so not exactly meeting the breed standard isn't that important as long as the chicks come from healthy stock and are healthy birds.

Is My Pet Chicken a good place to order from?
I haven't ordered from My Pet Chicken so I don't know about that, though I love their website. I know Ideal Poultry doesn't have a minimum bird order just a minimum dollar amount. You have to have an order of $25 with them. I currently have Australorps, EEs and some mixed bantams (planning to get SFH, marans and more EEs soon). The Australorps are very sweet with me (but BOSSY) and lay very well, but mine have gone broody and do not like to stop once they start

. My EEs so far haven't shown any inclination at all towards broodiness. They are sweet and lay such pretty eggs, and lots of them. They also seem to tolerate the heat very well.

My little sister got pulled over for dangerous lane changing in Seatle and got a ticket. She went to court and told the judge that she changed lane to avoid accident as the front car suddenly braked... and the Judge dismissed her ticket. I notice they very lenient with female driver. Too bad, I cannot change my sex , so I had to change my speed. One time I had to pay $100 for accumulate too many penalty points, I used that to tell my boss the reason of me being late more.

Here is a little math problem for ya'll:

I drive from Pflugerville to San Marcos everyday. At my normal speed, it always takes 1 hour to get to work. Today, due to the Nascar event, on the first half of my route I could only drive at 1/2 of my normal speed. So, for the second half of my route, how fast shoud I drive to make to work on time ?

If you are already at work, why do you need to know?

I don't think you are over thinking at all. :)

I want a pretty egg basket and good production.  Too much to ask?

Is your avatar all your own eggs?  What breeds do you have?

I need to go through my list and see what the colors I have there.  I think they are mostly browns and creams.  Maybe a white.  It's a good thing I am doing all this planning and learning now.  I may need to increase the size of my coop!

Those are my hens eggs and I took the photo. Internet thieves have used it all over the place!

700

That photo was taken in 2009 I think. The girls were young and their egg color more vibrant...it changes with age. The green layer is just an EEr from Murray McMurray. The other breeds were Welsummer, cucukoo maran (dark eggs), australorps, and JG's.

Did I tell y'all they chingalayed me on my two black star production birds? They gave me one Jersey Giant instead. :barnie. How do you sub out a production bird with a JG?? Because they thought I wouldn't know...busted!

Tammy, kkkk, you should have tried to answer, my sister

Jean, good attempt.

In the past I tried this problem with some highschool students and they figured out if I drove 1/2 speed on the first half of the road, just doublt the speed on the second half and everything should even out. They even laughed of this easy problem. In reality, the correct answer is "It is impossible for me to be on time as I already used up 1 hr for the first half of the road." It's time to call my boss and claimed that Tammy's cow ran out on the highway and hit my car or better off claimed that Laurie'cow refused to get off my hood.

I'm not getting chicks. I'm going to get hatching eggs and hatch them myself. I have ancona duckies in the 'bator right now so I want to wait till they are hatched before I put more eggs in.
I set some eggs from my own chickens as a test run for the 'bator I made and they hatched last weekend. I am so amazed at the difference in them compared to shipped chicks. They are so quiet and much calmer and less skittish than the chicks I've had shipped.
