You should come to Beaumont, Kathy, I didn't get to meet you at the BBC.
I'm not sure I'll be attending LaGrange because my husband is working 7 nights a week, 12 hours per night through April.
Beaumont is an easy drive for me so I'll definitely be there.

Oh I been on BYC, just found this thread. Nice to chat with folks in the same state.
I have 5 little Silkies and they can be dinger than my full size chickies. I have to tuck them in at night or they will try to sleep at the base of the ramp to their coop.

Sorry to here that you lost yours

So sorry to hear about your feather-babies. I lost one of my girls, Ashes, on Jan 4 and it makes me so sad to think about it.
On a lighter note, I am really glad to hear that other people's silkies are on the dumber side... I was starting to think I just pick out birds that a just not so smart.

I think I am going to go to the LaGrange show ... I just love looking at all the different birds... I am not allowed to have any more chickens

but I think of it as window shopping. Like going to Tiffany's -- I know I can't have anything there but it is so fun to look and sometimes they even let me try things on!

Window shopping leads to new things.....oops how did that one get in the car:oops:

Very nice today in west texas. We are still recovering from the artic weather we got. I grew up here and never seen the weather so bad. It would have been warmer if we had gotten snow. I reset the bator today, kinda scared, we lost electric and water for a week.

Did you have eggs in the bator when your electric went down? What happens now, they aren't any good?

Is there a list of shows in Texas somewhere? I showed in the Bluebonnet Classic, but I haven't heard about the Beaumont show??
