Hey guys I was just going to put the word out that I will have Some gold laced wyandotte bantams and gold laced LF cochins for sale at the lagrange show march 5 if anyone is interested. I have 3 pair of the cochins and 4hens/1roo of the wyandottes. I would like to get $25/bird on the cochins and $10/bird on the wyandottes if possable. Make an offer!
Thanks, Jamie

We are in Cleburne, TX with 5 Partridge Rock hens and 1 Partridge Rock Rooster in one area and a mix of cochans. polish, bantams and dominiques in another area. All are free ranged and great producers. Our Grandkids and neighbor kids love to assist in gather the eggs. It is like a treasure hunt each time they go out.

On a recent visit from our 5 year old granddaughter, she went to gather eggs and only found one, we sent her back to look in the other nest boxes. She came back as happy as can be with 2 more eggs. We sent her to look once again, she quickly returned with another clutch and exclaimed "they are laying one a minute". Chickens are a great addition to family life to have around.

I'm loving this weather!!
Peepers is still hanging out in isolation. She's a little more alert but still puffed up with droopy wings. I'm not sure what to think, but I'm glad she isn't getting worse...

Hey guys .. I lost my D'uccle rooster this weekend.. (Thank you Mr. Hawk, for eating Mr. Jerk)

So I can't decide whether I want another D'uccle roo or a silkie roo. I have two silkie hens and I could put them all in the banty pen to cross with the d'uccles .. or I could get another D'uccle roo ... ?

anybody have either??

Silkie
