The ones I was thinking of finding (eventually) were made from brown rice flour, rice bran, and water. Those weird smelly noodles are too iffy to invest in. At least the brown rice ones (the cheaper ones) are said to be really good, without the smell or the mushy texture. Plus, I might be able to make them myself if I can find rice flour in the local Asian market. Brown rice flour is a little hard to find, I think.

I think the reason the miracle noodles are on the list is because they are nearly calorie free....the rice noodles are going to have a lot of calories in the form of carbs. I would suggest you portion it out like it is just brown rice.

Consider using spaghetti squash as a noodle substitute.

Good morning!!

Foggy here this morning, too.

This weekend they are predicting VERY cold and chance of freezing precipitation!!

The cold front is supposed to be in austin area Friday mid-day.

Just checked the forecast for Thurs, and Thurs night will start raining and Fri morning at about 5am will be 40F with 60% rain. Wowow, summer is over.

Lisa, r u ready ? Let Tammy feed the turkey for the next 2 days, she will scoop that skunk out of the hole with her new tractor.

My mom had her gallbladder out a couple years ago. She eats foods just fine. Is that not the norm?

It took all day to get my doors installed yesterday and I painted the insides today. I"m still trying to figure out the exterior color.

Here they are. :) I just LOVE them!

Back door. Blinds are between the glass. It is still taped up here from painting.
Sasha can sit and look out the door at the back yard now.

Front door. I LOVE this door! I will be painting the trim white (hopefully soon).
I want a color that is bright and pops. I need to go get samples to try.... Orangish brick
makes it hard to choose a color.
those are beautiful!!
I'm under the impression that more people have intolerance to certain foods than not after they lose their gallbladder!

No I am NOT ready for the cold weather! :) I am as ready as I can be for the surgery. I am praying it goes better than the last time.

I don't think Tammy's husband will want his new tractor smelling like Pepe LePew.

I don't have turkeys anymore, just chickens. We processed all of them. I am hoping to get some more. They are so much fun to have around plus they taste sooooo good.

Lisa :)

Skunks smell like bottled lemon juice to me. I'm weird.

I don't know about being weird---I like smelling old barns, cow/horse manure, etc. Go figure!

Lisa :)
