Finally got my first two chickens! Their names are Murphy and Juliette. I got them from my brother in law and his wife. So happy, in one day I already got an egg.

Hi everyone! Things were crazy and I have not been on for a while. Just clicked on this thread and was 1,200 post behind, so I just skipped to the end, LOL! Hope everyone is doing well and had a Wonderful and Blessed Christmas!

I still have my three musketeers. On the fence on what to do with them.....kind of tired of paying for boys that don't lay eggs, but they also make me laugh, so for now they are getting a pass.

It's shame on me. I did not know my son Charlie's Vietnamese name. It's Cuong, not Chuong. (I told Teri that this is Chuong for her to autograph). Actually at first it's Chuong, later my wife changed it and we once agreed on this.

Hey! Sorry....just now seeing this one....I'm planning on going to the Bluebonnet Classic if at all possible....won't be showing any birds.....just looking! Right now...I'm not getting a steady stream of eggs. They just started laying about a week ago. So right now...I'm testing for fertility and putting them in the incubator to see what I'm going to be getting. So, I probably won't have any for next weekend. Sorry!

I'm hoping that things will pick up pretty quick.....feeding chickens and not getting any eggs is a bummer....LOL But, they usually will pick up after the Solstice (which was 12/21/13 this year). I've gotten some beautiful mottled to hatch out recently though.....they are gorgeous. I should have a wide variety of colors this year. The cost of eggs depends on the color. PM me if you are interested in getting any later.

Congrats on the egg! There's nothing like that 1st egg! It starts so simple and then before you know it.....there's chicken math.....LOL!

Internet is slow over here as the optic cable for oversea internet had been broken for 2 mos. Same story almost every time.
Cuong can be pronounced as Ku Ong.. but put together in 1 syllable (Vietnamese words are all 1 syllables).
Yesterday I still had times for the morning walk. People woke up since 4:30 and swamped the beach for exercise. Lots of ladies are doing Taichi. I had the pix but no time to load now. Little Lisa will have to wait .. just go get your pix of the skunk for us to see.

I can't sleep today , been woke up since 2am. It's now 3am, time to wash and get ready for the big moment... Big time is coming in another 3 hrs. I will ride my wife to her make up session about 4:30am

Until then, I need to practice saying "I do"
