Hi, I am near White Rock Lake in Dallas. I started my flock on Mother's Day this year and have a Barred Rock, Cochin and an Americana.

I started my flock in oct with a white leg horn and a barred rock. The barred rock passed away from unknown causes (perhaps something with her crop) rt before thanksgiving. I got 3 more hens the weekend after thanksgiving, 2 Americaunas and a black australorp. They are a hoot!

Gu't Mo Ninh every1, or should be Evening X-Mas eve

This morning Dec 25 here in Nha Trang, Vietnam, I drove my wife to morning church. This is the first time I attended a X-Mas mass (as I could not make it last night, after dinner on X Mas eve I fell so sleepy). It was 6am and the church was packed already.about 100 yards before reaching the church, the bike twisted and got heavy. I got a flat tire..... hic hic.. it's pushing time! BTW, it's 71F and I got goose bump as I drive motor bike and wore only t-shirt.

I felt Charlie for the 1st time as he kicked a little at night. My wife's tummy was not too big yet, so it's a perfect time to host the wedding.

Wow! my hens LOVE warm oatmeal on cold mornings. I mix in  raisins or cranberries sometimes peanut butter or grits. They gobble it up. Guess all chickens are different.

I mix in a little of their layers crumbles with the oatmeal. They love it. But I raised them on it in.

Thank you Hens. How is Austin and how the chicken doing?

I hope Austin will stay warm by Jan 7 when I return. Otherwise I may catch a cold on the 2nd day of returning. If this happens then this will be the first time I get sick in 5 years. Somehow I don't get sick any more and I am having perfect attendance at work for 3 years; this is a record for me
