Texas

400
finally have picked up enough to sell beyond a few neighbors I could provide for this winter

I went riding today. Not cycling though. :) A friend invited me out to the barn for some horse therapy so my son and I decided to go there instead of cycling. We had a nice time despite the cold. It was in the 40's with a north wind. Brrr!!!!

I was really bundled up and still cold!

Trevor had never ridden a horse that wasn't a "trail" horse before. He had fun. :)

I pay over $3 a dozen for cage free eggs at the grocery store, and theyre not organic or anything!
Pricey :/ $3 seems like a deal.
I know theres a place that sells them at the farmers market here, at least during the summer, butbi dont remember how much they charge.
Ms Jellybean, have you been to the farmers market in Chestnut Square?

Hello everyone!

Well, I am about to be moving down to El Paso in a few months. I have to move into an apartment (not happy about that but there isn't much I can do about it). Is there anyone in El Paso who sells eggs? I don't think I could stand going back to store bought after having fresh eggs for the last three years.

Also, any tips for a new-to-Texas family? I have a DH and two DS's (one 2 1/2 year old and a 9 month old). Recommends on good pediatricians and vets in the area would be a bonus. It took me a year to find a pediatric doc that I like. :/

I have not been to any of the local Farmer's Markets. I've been to the big one in Dallas. :)

I get my fresh eggs from a friend who has back yard chickens for $2/dzn. :)

Do you still want those onion sets?

Sorry can't help you there, but I hope your move goes smoothly! Wow from CO Springs to El Paso, that is a huge change!
