Wet and cold here in Liberty Hill. Strong wind blowing. Good day to stay inside. Luckily I got out and got groceries yesterday. Spent the evening helping my daughter put together her wedding invitations. Check that off the to-do list.

Cold morning here in Central Tx and the wind is horrible & it's supposed to get below freezing tonight. I wish the hawks everyone has been talking about had carried off that darned groundhog instead of people's chickees! Anyone else here in CenTex?

Thanks! It's not totally finished. I still need to build the roost, poop board and put the outside brooder under it all. But it's real close.

It's cold here too! Just got back from picking up my granddaughter from pre-K and was giving the dogs a cookie when I heard our Hawk holler. Blue (Blue Heeler) took off after it! Seems like she's learning the sound of them and to give chase. She always chases the buzzards, just trying to get her to do that with the hawks.

Need help guys! Baby chick just hatch...whats hanging out of or off of it?!!??? Yolk sac? Tumor? Intestines?

Chicks are doing good. I think I check on them every hour, LOL
