Hey all, glad to be part of the Texas group!!

Name is Milly, from San Antonio and I have my hands meddled in a bunch of hobbies.  Currently have 8 quail, 2 dogs, 2 horses(paint & QH), 7 cows, 1 beef master X bull, 2 salt water tanks and a fiance.

Welcome from Liberty Hill. There is quite a group on BYC from the San Antonio area. BYC has a wealth of information and experience, but we really love pics.

I have always wondered who came up with eggsalad. I think I have figured it out. I was trying to make deviled eggs. I could not get the shells off in any decent manner. Tomorrow I will be making eggsalad.

I read here on the forum somewhere that the only eggs that peel well are old eggs. As they age, air develops between the egg and the shell which allows for the easy peeling. So, I gave up on trying to perfect my method of boiling, lol.

Hopefully I am getting Black Copper Marans in 2 weeks. Hopefully. That plan can all go south if my car needs something major fixed. The check engine light came on tonight on the way home. :( It's been a rough afternoon all around at the Jellybean house today.

Sometimes that check engine light may mean the gas cap isn't screwed on properly. Or you need regular service. Often it isn't major.

Truly. I had this happen on a trip TO Kansas City earlier this year. It was awful because I was so worried about the car. But then, I shut the car off, and when I turned it back on in the morning, the light was gone.

Hopefully, your issue is very simple.
